Digital Tasbeeh (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application. Because Digital Tasbeeh is designed as a fully offline, sandboxed application with zero permissions, our data practices are straightforward: we do not collect any data from you.
Information We Do Not Collect
Digital Tasbeeh does not collect, transmit, or process any personal information whatsoever. Specifically, we do not collect:

The app requests no Android permissions. It operates entirely within its own sandbox and has no ability to access your camera, microphone, contacts, storage, location, or any other sensitive device resources.
Local Data Persistence
Digital Tasbeeh uses the Android Room Database to store your dhikr counter values and app preferences locally on your device. This data includes:
- Tasbeeh counter progress (e.g., current count for each dhikr category)
- App settings such as sound and vibration preferences
All data stored by Room Database remains completely offline on your phone. It is never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party. The data exists only in the app’s private storage area on your device and is accessible only to you through the app itself.
If you uninstall the app or clear its data through your device settings, all locally stored counter data and preferences will be permanently deleted. We have no ability to recover this data, as we never receive a copy of it.
Third-Party Services
Digital Tasbeeh does not integrate with any third-party services. Specifically:
- No Google Analytics or any other analytics platform
- No tracking SDKs or attribution frameworks
- No advertisements or ad networks
- No social media integrations or sharing plugins
- No cloud backup services or remote data synchronization
- No in-app purchases or payment processors
The app does not connect to the internet for any purpose. There are no network calls, API requests, or data transmissions of any kind.
Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Digital Tasbeeh is suitable for users of all ages, including children under the age of 13. Because the app collects absolutely no personal information from any user — regardless of age — we are fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international children’s privacy regulations.
Parents and guardians can confidently allow children to use Digital Tasbeeh knowing that no data is collected, tracked, or shared. The app contains only Islamic spiritual content (dhikr counters and authentic duas) with no user-generated content, social features, or external links.
Data Security
Because all data remains exclusively on your device within the app’s private storage, security is governed by your device’s operating system protections. We recommend keeping your device secured with a screen lock and keeping your Android operating system up to date.
